• Hold the tape loosely - the tape should be snug to the body, but not tight.
• Dancers should wear a leotard or tight fitting dancewear when being measured.
• Generally, girth is the most important measurement to use as your guide.
• If a dancer falls between sizes we usually recommend that you order one size up.
BUST (A): Measure the fullest part of the chest, keeping the measuring tape parallel to the ground
WAIST (B): Measure the narrowest part of the natural waist.
HIPS (C): Measure the hips at the fullest point.
GIRTH (D): Place tape measure in the center of the shoulder, down front of body, under crotch, and back to the same shoulder.
INSEAM: Stand with feet hip-width apart and measure from the crotch straight to the floor.
