Dansco Will Be Holding Open Call Modeling Auditions
Friday, June 18, 2021 from noon-4pm
At our factory: 1299 County Street Attleboro, MA 02703
Dansco is proud to have worked with hundreds of dancers over the years, some of whom have gone on to professional dance, modeling, and cheerleading careers right here in New England! We are auditioning models for our upcoming photo shoots, the results of which will appear in our national catalog, website, print advertisements and social media.
This is a great opportunity for area dancers (male and female) between the ages of 5 and 20 who have strong technique and a great personality. Due to the small size range of samples produced for our photo shoots, female dancers must fit in xsc, sc, mc, lc or sa sized leotards; male dancers must fit sc, mc, lc, sa, or ma dance attire.
Auditions are free and held on a first-come/first-serve basis. Dancers can arrive ANY TIME between noon and 4pm, all dancers will be auditioned. Audition process takes 5 to 10 minutes (not including wait time). To save time, please feel free to download and bring a completed Model Application Form with you to the event.
Per CDC guidelines, we suggest any unvaccinated individuals wear a mask while indoors. We will ask that any models wearing masks to remove them while being photographed, they will be socially distanced at that time.
Please arrive in leotard and tights, with hair in a ponytail. Make-up is suggested but not required. Male dancers should arrive in proper dance attire.
We ask that you come prepared with two standing dance poses that highlight your skills and personality. If you are stuck for inspiration, we suggest looking through the costumes on our website for an idea of the types of poses we normally use.
The audition process:
• models will be measured for size category
• headshot and bodyshot will be taken
• photos will be taken of your poses

If you are unable to attend but wish to be considered, please mail us a completed model application along with two photos, a head shot and a body shot.
